Cake smash portrait sessions are a fun way to celebrate your baby's 1st birthday. Styled studio setups are designed with any theme you would like and cakes can be made allergy free for those with special diets. You can have a 6" cake or a 6" cupcake.

We provide everything: The cake, the backdrop, any props requested, clothing, and we collaborate with you to the specific design you want. All you have to bring, is your birthday baby!

One year birthday sessions are booked when baby is 11mo and photographed at least 2 or 3 weeks before birthday or birthday party to ensure you have photos in time for your celebration.

There is always something to celebrate and what better way to celebrate but with CAKE!

FAQS

"Can we get pictures with our child?" Yes. If you are looking to just get a few pictures with your child in front of a solid color backdrop, that is possible with no additional charge when booking the Simple and Sweet Package, but if you want to include siblings or want a themed backdrop, a mini family session is required to be purchased when booking the session. It is $95 to add a family mini session with siblings in front of a solid color backdrop and $295 with a themed backdrop.

Cake Information: Session includes 6" cake. We do not provide sugar free or fondant cakes. Gluten, nut, and egg less are an option in chocolate cake only. A naked cake design would be the best for a low sugar option.

"DO YOU TAKE VIDEO ALSO?" - NO, we do not offer videography of the cake smash. We like to focus on the just the photography. You are welcome to take your own cell phone videos or hire your own videographer, but you must book the session in the Santa Clara rented studio.
